Apprehension of NNC/FGN (NA) cadres brings relief

Assam Rifles apprehended an active cadre of Naga National Council (NNC)/The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) along with four weapons, assorted ammunition, explosives, radio set and other incriminating materials including extortion slips from Niuland Town, Kohima.
The cadre was identified as Mr Chokrikyu Sangtam was involved in extortion and other illegal activities in Dimapur and Kohima District of Nagaland. Apprehendee alongwith recovered items was handed over to Niuland Police Station for further investigation.
