ASSAM RIFLES APPREHENDS NSCN(IM) CADRES

Based on specific information regarding presence of NSCN (IM) Cadres and Over Ground Worker (OGW) in general area of Doyapur village of Dimapur district, Assam Rifles launched a search operation alongwith a police representative on 24 May 2019. During the search operation, troops of Assam Rifles apprehended SS Leacy Hehuto, Mr Chingni, OGW (employed in the house of SS Lt Col Vikato) and Mrs Kheliho, W/o SS Leacy Samuel.

Recoveries included 5 Pistol, one 12 Bore Gun, 600 rounds of Assorted Amn and 34 pairs of combat uniform. The apprehended NSCN (IM) Cadres alongwith the recovered items were handed over to West Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
