ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTES LEC ON WATER BORNE DISEASE AT KHAWBUNG

1. Serchhip battalion of Assam Rifles under 23 Sect AR/ IGAR (East) conducted a lecture on Water borne disease at Khawbung of Champhai District in Mizoram on 27 may 2019.
2. A total of 15 locals and 07 jawans attended the lecture, the lecture was delivered to spread awareness about the illness caused by drinking contaminated water due to human or animal waste. The lecture imparted knowledge about all the adequate measures required to be taken to prevent such diseases. With the onset of monsoon it is very important to take measured for safe preservation/storage of water. Else water stay nation & contaminated water became breeding gand for mosquitoes. Lecture has helped to educate villagers and may lead to reduction in various disease.
