IG AR (North) PRESENTS THE BOOK TITLED “WINNING THE LOST BATTLE : ASSAM RIFLES IN BATTLE OF KOHIMA” TO CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF

Maj Gen Pradeep Nair, YSM,IG AR (North) presented a book titled “Winning the Lost battle : Assam Rifles in Battle of Kohima” to Gen MM Naravane, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, Chief of the Army Staff on 22 Jan 20. The book tells the significant, yet untold stories, of valour of Assam Rifles men in the battle. It was an honour for the IG to have presented the the book to the Chief, who had himself held the appointment of Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) as a Major General.
