The outcome of close tie between the Myanmar army and National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) has been reflected with the recent occupation of one their headquarters located at Sagaing Region by the Myanmar Army. It has been reported that the total process has been conducted without firing a single shot.
However, Myanmar Army is yet to confirm this developement. But the information source thinks that NSCN(K) withdrew its troops and let the Myanmar Army to occupy its headquarters.

It might so happen that NSCN(K) did it so that the peace process between NSCN (K) and the government doesn’t get disrupted. It is to be mentioned that a ceasefire agreement was signed in April 2012 between NSCN (K) and the government. To remind some more information on this issue, it might be added that the NSCN(K) had been fighting to achieve a union between Naga living in the northeast states of India and the Sagaing Region in Myanmar. In 1988, the NSCN got splitted into two fractions; the NSCN(K) led by S.S. Khaplang based in northern Lahe and Nanyun townships in Sagaing Region, Myanmar and the NSCN(IM) led by Isak Chisi Swu and Thuingaleng Muivah in India. It is also to be noted that the Leshi, Lahe and Nanyun townships in Sagaing Region are being claimed as a Naga Self-Administered Zone by them. Since 2010, the NSCN(K) and the Myanmar government have not engaged in any armed clashes. After the ceasefire in 2012, many of their soldiers were deserted.

Since the ceasefire agreement both the sides are maintaining the promised clauses and did not confront each other with any mentionable clashes.
