Troops of the Indian Army neutralized a hardcore Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagalim-Reformation (NSCN-R) cadre and busted a hideout of the militant outfit during early morning hours in Arunachal’s Changlang on 28 September (Saturday).

The operation was launched on specific intelligence inputs regarding the presence of NSCN (R) cadres in the area of Kharsang.

Based on this input, a well coordinated operation was launched, in which one active cadre of NSCN (R) was neutralized.

Upon further search of the area, a hideout was discovered in Arunachal’s Changlang which was destroyed by the Army.
