Two held with Yaba tablets in city

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested two alleged drug traders with 5, 700 Yaba tablets from Airport road area in the capital on Saturday night.
The arrestees are—Abdul Mottaleb alias Rafik, 23, son of Khairul Bashar of Dargapara of Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar, and Md Mainuddin, 22, son of Shahar Mullukh of Natmura thana.
RAB-3 Commander Lt Col Arif Mohiuddin Ahmed said the arrestees are engaged in drug peddling for long time.
They brought the Yaba tablets from Cox’s Bazar and sold those in different areas of the capital.
Legal action has been taken against the arrestees in this regard, he added.
