UPDF man shot dead in Khagrachhari

An activist of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) was gunned down by his rivals in Matiranga of Khagrachhari on 30th January (Thursday).
The deceased was identified as Sana Dhon Chakma, 38.
Local sources said armed men gunned down Sana Dhon at Ochai Karbaripaia in Sapmara area in the morning when he went there for celebrating Saraswati Puja.
Additional superintendent of Khagrachhari Police MM Salahuddin said police recovered the body and sent to Sadar Hospital morgue.
He also said a pistol and two bullets were also recovered from the scene.
