The DG Assam Rifles, Lt Gen Sukhdeep Sangwan, SM** made a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Raksha Mantri, Shri Rajnath Singh at New Delhi on 01 Oct 2019.
The DG presented a Souvenir(in the form of a Book) highlighting the activities & achievements of Assam Rifles in the past year and also briefed the Hon’ble Minister about the general security scenario in the North East.
The Defence Minister, who had earlier seen Assam Rifles closely as the Union Home Minister, could appreciate the same Force from a different perspective now.
