2 Rohingya men shot dead in Cox’s Bazar camp

Two Rohingyas men have been killed by a group of unidentified miscreants at Balukhali camp in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar.
Another Rohingya man was injured in the firing as well.
The incident took place at Rohingya camp number 13 at 1pm on Tuesday, Ukhiya police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Mohammad Ali confirmed the matter.
OC Muhammad Ali said the miscreants opened fire in the camp. Three Rohingyas sustained bullet in this incident. One of them died on the spot while another one died at the hospital.
The condition of another injured is also critical. He is undergoing treatment at Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital, the OC said.
Legal actions will be taken in this connection, he added.
Members of local police and Armed Police Battalion (APBn) have been deployed to keep the situation normal in the camp.
