Continuous fierce clash forcing Rohingya flee the village in Buthidaung

Rohingya residents in Buthidaung are being forced to flee their villages by the ongoing fierce clash between Arakan Army (AA) and Myanmar soldiers that has began at 11.30 am today March 29, 2019, at Thaya Pyin village of Puyo Let hamlet under Buthidaung.

It is learnt that the clash began at 11.30 am between the Arakan Army and Myanmar militaries nearby the village of Thaya Pyin of Puyo Let in Buthidaung east.

Those are mostly Rohingya inhabiting villages where the fighting is taking place between the Myanmar soldiers and Arakan Army (AA) in Buthidaung east.

The fighting between the AA and militaries is forcing hundreds of Rohingya residents to flee the villages and taking shelters in other villages which are a bit far from the war zone.

A Rohingya resident said we are sufferers and victims to continued war here between the government forces and rebels which have been continuously happening in many parts of Arakan where mostly Rohingya people live.

Now the Rohingyas who fled their villages are facing difficulties under the open sky day and night. They are now in a destitute and stranded situation without food and shelter since they have fled the village.
Civilians are also getting wounded due to the indiscriminate heavy gunfire of rebels and Myanmar forces.

Burmese Army always target Rohingyas even when they fight with AA. They are launching Rockets over Rohingya villages in battle with AA. Today, all the Rohingyas from Buthidaung TeikTooPauk village, had to run, 4 houses hit and burnt down.
