Rohingya refugees will not be sent to the BashanChar if they don’t want to go

The ForeignMinister of Bangladesh, Mr. AK Abdul Momen has said to the reporters on Wednesday that “I do not know when it will be possible to send the Rohingyas to the Bhashan Char and If everyone finds that doing so will be inconvenient for the Rohingyas and then the government will not send them to the Bashan Char.”

The Government of Bangladesh had plans to relocate about 100,000 Rohingya refugees from camps to the Bhashan Char.But many Humanitarian Organizations including the UN have expressed concerns about doing it and it would be a new crisis.
