It accused Ravi that he has deprived of the voice of thousands of students and youth by not inviting NSF in various consultative meetings. It reminded GOI that NSF was founded in 1947, and it is older than the Union of India itself.

NSF reminded Ravi that Indo-Naga talk is a negotiation at the highest level having a political features in it therefore genuine negotiation is the key to resolving Naga political issue. The apex students body reaffirmed that Nagas will never accept any imposed solution.

NSF again warned GOI that economic package or monetary assistance cannot purchase the rights of the Nagas. It slammed the government of infusing ´Divide and Rule´ policy among Naga general public.

Accordingly, NSF puts forward 5 important demands to be included in the negotiation:

  1. Unique Naga identity be recognized through the Naga national flag which is dear to the hearts and minds of every Naga.
  2. Honor the Framework Agreement in letter and spirit which was signed on 3rd August 2015 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  3. Solution be honorable and acceptable based on the recognized unique Naga history.
  4. Focus on mutually negotiated solution instead of imposed solution.
  5. Desist from provoking the Nagas by sending Indian troops to Naga homeland and issuing statement of threat.

The copy of the letter has been also sent to United Nations in New York, UNPO in Brussels and Naga International Support Centre in Amsterdam.
