Assam Rifles Conductes Lex on Anti-Terrorism at Tuithumhnar

1. Lunglei batallion of Assam Rifles under 23 Sector, Assam Rifles/ IGAR (E) conducted a lecture on Anti-Terrorism on 21 May 2019 at Tuithumnhar Vill in Mizoram to spread awareness and caution against the terrorist activities in the country. People of Tuithumnhar village were also made aware of various Anti-national elements roaming along the IMB. Total of 20 locals attended the lecture.
2. The purpose of anti-terrorism day was to spread the message of global peace and non-violence and prevent youngsters from following cult practices and being misguided. Anti-Terrorism Day also honours the sacrifices made by thousands of soldiers who fought against terrorism. It’s a day to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in terrorist attacks. Various awareness programmes have been planned to protect the future generations from radical influence.
On Anti-Terrorism Day, an anti-terrorism pledge was taken by all the villagers of Tuithumnhar village.
