Assam Rifles Apprehends NSCN (KN) Cadres

Based on specific information regarding presence of SS Dy Kilonser Nilo K Zhimoni of NSCN (KN) alongwith other armed cadres carrying the extortion, weapon smuggling and running fake rackets of Arms license, Assam Rifles launched an operation in general area Thelixu village, Dimapur. During the search operation, SS Stefan Zhimo, S/o Vizeha Zhimo, Age 20 years, r/o Sheyieu village, District Zunheboto and SS Kikhgsa Chopi, S/o Hekheya Chopi, Age 20 years, r/o Khukisha village, District Zunheboto were apprehended.
Recoveries included one M4 A Assault Rifle with Magazine, two Point 22 Semi Automatic Rifles, one Point 22 Pistol, 90 Point 22 rds, 48 GPRN extortion slips, 01 Telescope sight with accessories, 26 fake license, fired cases (10 x AK, 03 x 5.56), 06 AK 47 slings, five Rifle butt assembly and 01 mobile phone.
The apprehendees along with all recovered items were handed over to the Diphupar Police Station for further investigation.
