Hukavi was not included in the Previous Naga Peace Talk

In a document accessed by Nagaland Post, it is revealed that former Kilo Kilonser of NSCN (I-M) Hukavi Yeputhomi’s name did not figure among those in the 15-member delegation of NSCN (I-M) that met with officials of the government of India on October 24.

According to the list, the NSCN (I-M) delegation included:
1. Th. Muivah, Chief Negotiator
2. Tongmeth Wangnao,
3. Lt. Gen (Retd) V.S Atem,
4. Rev. A Puni,
5. Zarsie Nyuthe,
6. T. Among,
7. Lt. Col (Retd) Neipfupe Venuh,
8. Col. (Retd) Meyutsuba Longkumer,
9. Lt. Col (Retd) Victor Angami,
10. R.T. Tsanglao,
11. R.K. Ringthim,
12. Rh. Raising,
13. Vikiye Sumi,
14. C Kasar and
15. John Anal.

In Hukavi’s statement which was published by media, in a declaration after joining GPRN/NSCN along with 16 others claimed that he was at the “negotiating table” till October 24, 2019.

However, on the same day, NSCN (I-M) sources and other reliable sources confirmed to Nagaland Post that Hukavi was not part of the 15-member delegation at the meeting with the Interlocutor.
