Military representatives of 7 countries pay tribute to Bangabandhu

A delegation of military representatives from seven countries working in Dhaka paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by laying a wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Sunday.
DG of Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) Maj Gen Hamidul Haque led the delegation also offered special prayers seeking the salvation of the departed soul of the Bangabandhu.
The eight army officials are – Brigadier General Manmeet Singh Sabarwal of India, Brigadier General Ali Ejaj Rafi of Pakistan, Brigadier General Roshan Shumsher Rana of Nepal, Brigadier General Soye Niyat of Myanmar, Colonel Erdal Sahin of Turkey, Colonel Mahmud MJ Sharawanah of Palestine, Lieutenant Colonel Demsi Cheril Sinclear of Australia and Squadron Leader Avitosh Sharma of India.
Spouses and children of the military representatives laid separate wreaths at the mausoleum to pay respect to the Bangabandhu.
Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Ayesha Siddika, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Golam Kabir, Tungipara Upazila Executive Officer Al-Mamun, Municipal Mayor Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul, Upazila Awami League Vice President Elias Hossain were present among others.
