KNF armed wing member killed in raid in Bandarban

A member of the Kuki-Chin National Army (KNA), the armed wing of the Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF), was killed in an operation conducted by joint forces in the remote Munlaipara area of Ruma upazila in Bandarban.
A media release of the Inter-Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) confirmed this information in a message on Monday night.
According to ISPR, the KNF member was killed on Monday in a remote area.
Arms, ammunition, and other equipment were recovered at this time.
However, the identity of the deceased could not be known.
It could not be known how many weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site.
Since October 2022, six army personnel have been killed in joint forces operations against KNF while 17 people including KNF members were killed.
Besides, more than 50 people were injured and at least 30 were kidnapped during the period.
