Joint forces on Sunday arrested 35 people conducting raid on Geneva Camp at Mohammadpur in the capital.
The joint forces comprising Army, RAB and Police, arrested 35 people conducting raid on Geneva Camp at Mohammadpur in the capital from 5:00am to 8:00am.
Among the arrested persons included 32 miscreants, 3 female drug peddlers, and top drug dealer ‘Picchi Raja.’
They also seized a large number of local made weapons and drugs, said the Media Wing of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
Army, RAB-2 and police conducted the raid on Mohammadpur Geneva Camp, inhabited by Urdu speaking stranded Pakistanis. During the raid, the law enforces arrested 32 people. Besides, three women drug peddlers were arrested.
During the drive, huge cache of local weapons, a pistol, a revolver, 20 rounds of bullet, 6 Chinese axes, 28 small knives, 11 large knives, 16 ramda, 8 Chapatis, a teta, 53 petrol bombs, 12 packets splinters, 9 litres of petrol, and 8.5kgs of marijuana, 4 bottles of beer, 50 helmets and a mobile phone were seized from the arrested people.
