Sayeman wins three awards at SATA 2026

Sayeman has won three awards at the 10th South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026, marking its eighth consecutive year of recognition at the regional hospitality awards.

The awards ceremony was held in Malé, Maldives, on October 8. Cluster General Manager Pubudu Fernando received the awards on behalf of Sayeman, according to a press release.

Sayeman won the awards in three categories: Leading Resort/Hotel Brand – Bangladesh, Sayeman Beach Resort as Leading Beach Hotel/Resort – Bangladesh, and Sayeman Heritage as Leading Heritage Hotel/Resort – Bangladesh.

The South Asian Travel Awards recognise achievements in the travel and hospitality industry across the region. The latest recognition highlights Sayeman’s continued presence in Bangladesh’s tourism sector.

Sayeman Beach Resort in Cox’s Bazar offers beachfront accommodation, while Sayeman Heritage carries forward the legacy of the historic Sayeman name. Together, the two properties represent a hospitality brand with roots dating back to 1964.

In a statement, Pubudu Fernando said the awards reflected the collective efforts of the teams working at both properties.

‘These achievements belong to every member of our team. They are the result of shared purpose, collaboration, and the care that each colleague brings to their role every day. Teamwork is the foundation of our success,’ he said.

He thanked the hotel group’s employees, guests, business partners and well-wishers for their continued support, saying the recognition would inspire the team to improve its services and preserve the Sayeman legacy.

The company said the awards reflected the dedication of its management and employees in providing guest experiences across its properties. It also reaffirmed its commitment to improving hospitality standards and promoting Bangladesh’s tourism sector internationally.

Sayeman’s portfolio includes Sayeman Beach Resort and Sayeman Heritage in Cox’s Bazar. The brand has been part of Bangladesh’s hospitality industry since 1964.
