Assam Rifle and State Police Conducts Joint Security Drill at Dimapur

A Security Drill was jointly carried out by Assam Rifles and Nagaland Police (Special Task Force) in Dimapur on 27 August 2019.

This exercise was aimed at achieving synchronisation of actions by all stakeholders for security and disaster relief contingencies. The forces participating in the exercise discussed the nuances of carrying out different types of operations in a coordinated manner.

These included establishing of check posts, carrying out area domination, real time intelligence sharing and providing aid during emergencies and natural calamities.
