𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗠 𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦’ 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗤 𝗗𝗚𝗔𝗥, 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚

The two day Annual Assam Rifles Commanders’ Conference began at HQ DGAR, Shillong on 19 Oct.
On the opening day, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗻’𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗦(𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲), 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗶, 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗠 𝗥𝗜𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗦 for their outstanding contributions in various wars fought pre & post independence & in fighting insurgency in North East, J&K & even in Op Pawan. He lauded the contributions made by the Force in development of North East Region. The Minister appreciated the efforts of the Force in furthering Govt’s Act East Policy & facilitating various development schemes.

A ‘𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱’ 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗻 & 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 gave a Guard of Honour. The Hon’ble Minister thereafter, laid wreath at Laitkor War Memorial & inaugurated the OPD Wing of Laitkor Multi Speciality Hosp.

Addressing the Sainik Sammelan, he complimented the soldiers for their unparalleled bravery, peerless dedication & contribution in serving the National Interests. He exhorted all ranks of ASSAM RIFLES to continue to live upto the adage of being “The Friends of the North East.”
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗚 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗟𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗸𝗵𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘄𝗮𝗻, 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 & 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 & 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗠𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿. The conference shall also delve into issues like Force Modernization, Smart Solutions & Leveraging Technology for Operational, Administrative & Man Mgmt aspects.
During the Conf the 𝗛𝗼𝗻’𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 the 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗤𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝗔𝗔𝗡 𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗜, the Seminar Papers on “𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮” and a handbook on 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.
