DG Assam Rifles, Lt General Sukhdeep Sangwan, SM** called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Bipin Rawat, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, ADC in New Delhi and thanked him for the guidance and support rendered to Assam Rifles. The DG also apprised the Chief of the security related issues concerning North East as well as other significant contributions made by the Assam Rifles in the region.

Post discussions, the DG presented the newly published book titled, ‘𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘’ based on 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 ‘𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮’ 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗜𝗜.
