Tulihal Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a Cleanliness Drive on 05 Jan 20. The event commenced with a lecture on βSwachh Bharat Missionβ in which the locals were also educated on global warming, its harmful effects and the benefits of tree plantation to counter it. The lecture was followed by cleanliness drive which was participated by the troops of Assam Rifles and a large number of locals of the area. The locals expressed their happiness & gratitude to Assam Rifles for sustained efforts to sensitise the masses on such an important issue.
