ASSAM RIFLES UNITS EXCEL : PROUD MOMENT FOR AR FRATERNITY

Continuing with the tradition of excelling, three Assam Rifles units namely 16, 37 & 38 AR have been awarded the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Unit Citation & two Units namely 14 & 41 AR have been awarded the GOC-in-C Eastern Command Unit Appreciation. All five units are deployed in the insurgency infested areas of Nagaland, Manipur & Arunachal Pradesh. The Unit Citations & Appreciations are awarded every year to select Army & Assam Rifles units based on their sterling performance in various spheres.
