ASSAM RIFLES DEDICATES WATER SUPPLY SCHEME TO KHUDENGTHABI VILLAGE, MANIPUR

Tengnoupal Battalion of AssamRifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR(South) dedicated Water Supply Scheme to include pumps, three water storage tanks of total 60000 Liters capacity and other ancillaries to Khudengthabi village in Tengnoupal District which is a remotely located village in the vicinity of Indo-Myanmar Border. The villagers were facing an acute shortage of water especially during the dry season as no permanent source of water and facility to store it was existing in the village. The battalion efficiently executed the task under the Border Area Development Project (BADP) primarily aimed at uplifting socio-economic strata of the local populace of border areas.
