Matiranga army’s distributes humanitarian aid

Bangladesh Army is working for the development of peace and harmony in Chittagong Hill Tracts. In continuation of that, cash, tin, wheelchair and cricket materials have been distributed for the local helpless, distressed, disabled, madrasas and ailed people living under Matiranga Zone.
On Sunday morning, Matiranga Zone Captain Lt. Colonel Md. Kamrul Hasan, PSC, distributed the items as the chief guest on zone ground.
The special humanitarian assistances include ten buns tin for construction of house for poor students of Palashpur Miftaul Jannah Madrasah and Orphanage of Matiranga Municipality, five buns of tin for construction of house for helpless Abdul Mannan, one set of solar panels to helpless Ayesha Akhtar, one wheelchair to destitute Md. Rafiq Miah, cricket material worth Tk 1.30 lakh to Muslim Para Jubo Sangha, and a total of Tk 80,000 to Mosa Kohinoor Begum, Bachchu Mia, Md. Shahid and Mosa Anwara Begum for providing better treatment.
On this occasion, Matiranga Zone Deputy Commander Major Md. Murad Hossain, PSC, Matiranga Zone Captain Ahaduzzaman Shubho, along with other officers were present.
In his speech, Matiranga Zone Captain Lt. Col. Md. Kamrul Hasan, PSC, said, “The Bangladesh Army is working sincerely for the socio-economic development and peace of the people in the hills. Bangladesh Army has been with the common people since the beginning by fulfilling various humanitarian needs.”
