Indo-Bangla Fencing Could not Stop the Urge for Study

Closure of Gate No. 30 of Indo-Bangla Border Fencing (IBBF) at Borapansury within Lawngtlai District, Mizoram causes havoc for school children. Despite, several appeals by the local peoples, the gate remain shut for 24 hours.

As the gate is the only way for movement of the affected villagers, the school children has to jump across the fencing which is very dangerous and will intricate deadly consequences sooner or later.

There are several other gates which caused difficulty for the life of the villagers of that region.

Government of Mizoram/Ministry of Home Affairs (Union) have failed to rehabilitate those citizens with fitting lands which falls beyond the indo-bangla border fencing and worthy measures on social impact assessment report has never assisted the aggrieved citizens.
