CAPSTONE 2025/02 Course Delegation Visits Army Headquarters

A delegation comprising participants of the prestigious ‘CAPSTONE 2025/02’ course, conducted by the National Defence College (NDC), visited the Bangladesh Army Headquarters today. Led by the Commandant of NDC, the delegation included 45 senior professionals representing a wide range of sectors—Armed Forces, Civil Service, Judiciary, Academia, Media, Diplomatic Corps, Law, Finance, Health, Industry, Law Enforcement Agencies, and other vital national institutions.
This diverse representation reflects a strong commitment to fostering integrated national strategic thinking and enhancing cooperation between military and civilian stakeholders. It also underscores the importance of multi-sectoral engagement in shaping coherent national policies and responding to emerging challenges.
Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladesh Army, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, warmly received the CAPSTONE fellows and extended his appreciation for their continued contributions to national progress. In his remarks, he emphasized the essential role of civil-military partnership in ensuring sustainable development and strategic resilience.
As part of the program, the Director of Military Operations Directorate delivered an insightful presentation, shedding light on the Bangladesh Army’s current operational priorities, strategic posture, and long-term modernization goals.
The event was also attended by the Chief of General Staff of the Bangladesh Army along with other senior officers from Army Headquarters. The visit served as a platform for high-level interaction and knowledge-sharing, further strengthening the bonds between the armed forces and the broader national leadership.
