President Shahabuddin cancels Sajek visit

President Mohammed Shahabuddin has cancelled his five-day trip to Sajek considering the sufferings of businessmen and tourists.
A high-level source confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday.
Earlier, the president was scheduled to visit the popular tourist spot from December 18-22.
Hence, all resorts and cottages were declared closed due to security reasons.
